Can you tell me what type of thermostate you all use in outside housing. Its to use with the tube heater.

Ive got a habistat and I noticed that even when its turned down to the lowest setting it still turns my tub heater on! :?

Hi Tiggy

I have a couple of these type. They work very well. although I am never sure if the temperature around the thermostat is higher than the temperature on the ground because it is plugged into electricity which produces heat. So I set it about 5 degrees above the temperature I require. I usually find that by doing this I get the correct temperature on the ground where the tortoises are.
