I have made a patch out of gravel boards down the bottom of the garden, where I replant any weeds I find. They aren't doing too bad at the minute.

Found it. Ha ha. Julia, my seeds have arrived. I want to plant them in a tray for Legs 11. Do you use topsoil? Do you leave them outside to geminate? How often do you water them? I only really want them to start shooting and stay little for the time being. Just so Legs has some to wander around in, and I can see if he is able to bite bits off them.

Well for a start , I used compost as I can't seem to grow them in topsoil, I find compost stays moist longer, which I think helps.. I had my seed trays outside to germinate and I put some more seeds in tubs a few days ago, and they are starting to germinate.. I give it a watering , then let it dry a little , but not dry out, needs to be moist..

Right ok, then Julia. Over the weekend I shall be sowing Legs 11 some little weeds of his own. Hopefully they will germinate and grow. Fingers crossed.

I hope Legs 11 will eat them all by himself :)

Me too Julia. It would be a weight off my mind. I do enjoy the Me and Legs 11 time, because it has made him more special and very friendly. His mouth is a lovely healthy colour inside, so I know the food I give him is doing him good. But he really needs to start eating by himself.
