Can I ask everyones advise please.....

As you know I have 3 mature females that I think have all laid eggs this year - I only actually caught one laying but think they've all laid, anyway, I was wondering is it worth getting the 3 of them xray'd before hibernation just in case they are carrying again? I'm just a bit concerned as have seem some gravid behaviour but obviously we haven't had the temps/sunshine that would encourage laying....

Would they be ok if they hibernated with eggs? I appreciate there are risks with xray's but do they out-way the risks of sleeping with eggs or not?

What would you do?

i have had them xrayed in the past but wasted my money because they werent carrying eggs lol.i never do it now and so far it has been trouble free.i really dont think you should be concerned Dawn, unless they have been acting gravid recently and wont settle.

What are the risks of Xrays Dawn? I often wonder if they would go to sleep with a belly full of eggs? When Cola's gravid she won't even stay in her bath let alone settle down for a long sleep..

my girls have been pacing loads too. i thjought it was the weather confusing them  they've been quieter than usual for the last week or so but yesterday and particularly today they've been escaping, roaming, stomping around. it has been very muggy today, drizzly but very humid
