wow she is a chunky monkey! Looks almost too big for the egg!! :shock:

Thankyouso much for sharing these with us, its fantastic! Showed the girls at work today (some of whom aren't torte people) and they were all fascinated by your pictures! Even the non-tortie ones!!!

Just out of interest how many days are these ones? Is it 55 - 65 on average? (for THB)

Hi Dawn,

This is day 55 (excluding the day they were laid).

As I understand it, Boettgeri incubated over about 30C should hatch in under 60 days and the quickest I've read of is 52 days. Of course, there are always exceptions to this. Theres not a lot of information available for Hercegovinensis but it seems to be similar duration even at lower temperatures.

Great pictures Dave, its always surprising how they fit in the egg, it must be unconfortable being all scrunched up:0)
