It is becoming increasingly difficult to find healthy looking weeds for the babies. And I really don't want to have to use shop bought salads, until they become a last resort.

I have found this rather healthy looking plant/weed out by my back window. But i haven't a clue where it came from or what it is.

Could anybody help ID it for me please???

well it looks a bit like nipplewort but im not much good with pictures.

And I'm not very good at taking or posting them Terry. They are on sideways. ha ha.

when you have a look at nipple wort get a close look at field mustard,the leaves look very similar.

i do think it is nipplewort. but at the moment am not confident enough to feed. And where's Tilly when I need her. She seems to know what she can eat and what she can't, so i would be able to tell if it was edible if Tilly ate it. But no! she's already gone into hiding. lol

Did you look at the other plants I mentioned on chat? There are a couple of very simular ones! Where's Sandy when you need her, she's good at plant ID.....

Yes have looked at other weeds. It does look more like Nipplewort than any of the others. I think it's just a confidence thing at the moment. I am still not 100% sure that it is nipplewort. So I'm afraid I'm just not going to feed it to the torts at this moment in time.

there is another plant that looks very much like nipple wort but the end of the leaf is a different shape i just cant remember the name when my brain wakes up i will look it up to see.i dont see a lot of nipple wort so when i do, i pick it before it ever gets as big as whats in your picture or maybe i would be able to id it lol.
