If you do have somewhere seperate for a male to hibernate, it can help the females a little. As if the girls get up first, it will give them time to get their systems going before they are mated with the male. Males will start to mate as soon as they are warm:0) This in turn can help lessen the stress for the females who have only just woken up:0)

Ahhhhh see... the girls wake up first in my household, the males are lazy sods!

Lol well it just gives the girls a rest to start with in tort land:0)
