As you all know i " rescued " my 6yr old Sulcata Fluffy Aug this year and she has been progresing well :D So when i was having my horses annual worm count done i asked if they did Torts 8-) They did so i took in her poo which they checked and it came back with a massively high count !!!!Just shows that we dont know whats going on inside .Will do it again this time next year so will be interesting to see what happens over a year .Interested to know how many people do this and how often .Do you think i will have to do my littlies :?: .they weigh 97 and 102 g and are 15 months old .

hi judy, i dont know about"worm counts", do you take a poo sample and the vet checks it for worms? when he finds worms do you worm the horse? and will you worm you tort?.....tiggy

The horse was clear so doesnt need worming :) but Fluff had 2000 per milimetre :cry: so they are putting up some Panicure paste and going on the weight of fluff which is 4,4kg now they will tell me how much to use :) .And this will only cost about £5 :) .Well worth doing i think :P :P

judy, i have my torts wormed yearly as a matter of routine. ive never seen any before, but this year my new girl "Penny" had loads. I do my dogs, so i see no reason not to do the torts.In Pennys case im glad that i do.....tiggy
