thats terrible Jackie .the beak alone says it all. it cant possibly have had any oppurtunity to graze and must have been fed on soft foods .when they are in the south of England there really is no excuse for not letting them go outside for at least part of the day.

these shop bought/wild caught creatures often struggle in captivity.i think this is why there are so many being rehomed they are not what people expected of a leopard.truly captive bred and raised leopards are a whole different animal in terms of health and activity.mine interact with me far more than the meds and are totally fearless.if i pick one up and carry it the little legs keep going.then when i put them down often rush up to me afterwards almost as if they want another lift.i have one smallish male Blue who follows me around when i am in the enclosure getting under my feet all the time.thats apart from Gol my dominant male who constantly rushes up to me ,i believe defending his territory then stands there not sure what to do next.they are real characters watching me as much as i am watching them.
