Poor cola's so confused..

Hi everyone..

Cola laid 6 eggs after being induced on Thursday but she has still been acting gravid? I know it takes time for their hormones to calm down but today she spent all day digging the deepest hole ever bless her.. I was going to get some chickens eggs and pop them in to fool her :lol:

Any idea's how long it will take for her to realise she has an empty belly now?

i dont think there is a time limit but digging the hole may have helped.this is the worse part of having them induced.i dont think it will be more than a few days.

jeanette, im sorry cola is so upset. do you think she may have any eggs left and thats why she is digging. after magic laid hers she settled down , no digging or acting gravid....i hope she will settle down soon.......tiggy

Cola has seemed to slow down abit thank goodness and she has eaten well. I think as you said terry digging the hole did help..

I did feel sorry for her as I left for work yesterday and her bum was balancing over this huge hole.. love her heart..

Bless her, I wonder if its a bit like us? In the sense that when we have a baby born by c-section (as I did) you almost feel cheated and wonder if you've missed out by not going through the normal procedure of giving birth? I wonder if, for her own satisfaction she needed to dig a hole and just complete the natural process?

(BTW in case you are wondering I DIDN'T did a hole after having George!!! :shock:
