These were in a 'weed/plant' seed pack I bought and have just started sprouting up....anyone knows what they are? I thought they could be hollyhocks when they first started growing but now not so sure???

Hi Dawn,

The first one is Willowherb. Its everywhere at the moment, very invasive. Probably didn't come with your seeds but seeds have blown into your pot. Its not harmful but mine don't like the taste which is always a sign not to bother.

Not sure about the second one, it needs to grow up a bit. :)

Third is Groundsel, destroy it!

I've suddenly had that willow herb start springing up everywhere.

So thank you Dawn for asking the questions. I think I will just pull it all out. Tilly hasn't been near it, and I don't tend to feed to the others anything that Tilly won't touch.

Gail
