I am very sad.. I took Both Pepsi & Tango to my vets as I wanted him to check out pepsi and also have a look at Tango as since she hatched she has always had her head tilted to one side.

He had a good look and thinks Pepsi may have pneumonia!!!!! he said her breathing seemed bad so he is going to xray her and force feed her to give her some strength as she has lot a little weight..

He also thinks Tango has a deformed spine and is putting her on the same xray slide to check it out..

He has kept them in over the weekend and yet again I totally embarrased myself and started crying!! I feel so sorry for Tango as I only really took her to show him the big size difference between them and out of interest wanted him to look at her neck..

I have got to call him tomorrow to see how they are doing.. I have just called him to tell him they need a bath because I never did it before I took them..

I will let you all know how it goes.. I am missing them both sooooo much.. bless them

Oh Jeanette poor tango and Pepsi.... And poor worried you!! Let's hope all goes well and your vet can return them to you soon. oh jeanette,im so sorry, its a worring time when your babies are in the vets.but they are in the best place to put things right. dont worry about crying, i think people that dont cry over there pets are the strange ones.

Oh Jeanette,so sad to hear this news about Pepsi and Tango,they are both in good hands sounds like you have a good vet.
I bet your vet is used to people crying there's no shame i would be the same,they are our little babies,lots of hugs,take care

What a worry for you. But as said, they are in the best place. Well done on your vet for picking up on Tango's spine. He sounds very knowledgeable. So hopefully he will have them sorted and back with you in no time.

Ahhh thanks everyone..

I called the vets today but mark had been called away on an emergency so I could only speak to the receptionist. She said they are both doing ok but have both had a long lasting antibiotic injection.. she couldn't tell me any more so I have to call again tomorrow before 12 so fingers crossed I can go and get them..fingers crossed..

I don't know yet why Tango has had an injection, I only took her to get her crooked neck looked at, but they are together and just about to have a bath! bless them

I will update you all as soon as I know but thanks for your support.. only fellow tortoise lovers understand my worries.
