Hello
H,Becky and Humpty are all now out of hibernation :D :D and doing great, eating very well, for the first few days i kept them inside in there old tabletop homes to make sure they were okay but H decided to climb out and get in with the girls and you can never guess what happened!!!!!!!!!!! so now they are back outside in there outside house with there lights on and enjoying basking, keeping lights on a bit longer to keep some heat in and with the tubular heater it is maintaining temps for the night,Hibernation this year has been much easier and less stressful than last year, the only worry was when the temps went up at the beginning.Hope all going well for everyone with torts in hibernation.

Yeah, not sure when to wake them up though cos got no time off in next month or two (apart from weekends), because they are outdoors it needs to be when its warm enough for them to be up and out and about, also obviously they need to have baths for first few days, Frank & Teefa went down beginning of October whereas others were November time, so really difficult :? I have got one more days annual leave due and 1 day of time owing so maybe I will book a thurs & friday off so that I've got 4 days, plus I will have my half day on the wednesday.... all I got to do is decide when...........

Hi Jayne

I am glad all your torties are out of hibernation and are fine. Tilly, Tom and Tiny are still asleep. But not for too much longer I hope. I shall be getting Tom and Tiny up in the next couple of weeks. I shall leave Tilly a bit longer. I would prefer her to wake up herself.

Gail
