Is there any grasses you can buy for Hermans? Or should I just try the 'normal' grass from the garden?
I feed weeds/plants, pre alpin, florette all chopped up and mixed together at the moment. Didn't think to add grass, thanks for that :D

i dont buy any grasses myself and pick it from different areas of the garden.i find in theshaded areas some of the grasses can be very soft and i think this would be easier for smaller hatchlings to digest.i find of the three species i keep Hermanns are the least likely to eat all their grasses.

i dont know for certain if it would effect them but i dont take any chances and only feed what i have cut immediately before it is chopped and added to their meal.i do keep it in the fridge overnight but only once it has been mixed with the cut weeds.cut grasses which are bruised ,seem to start breaking down almost immediately particularly if they are heaped and start to generate heat very quickly.i have never used lawn trimmings for this reason even when they have only just been produced.
