I have used the timothy hay in the first pic,and i must say i have a hell of a time trying to get them to eat it,i chop it up super fine and mix it with weeds but neither the leos or the sully will have anything to do with it,but then they are all under two years old and they do eat a lot of grass from the garden, also chopped up fine,if i gave them a pile of grass they would not be bothered with it unless its mixed with weeds,do you think i need to correct this?Should i get them grazing on grass alone?? My guys get a small amount of fresh chopped weeds mixed with grass each day and i use Nutrobol about three times a week and cuttle bone the rest of the time.I am however open to any suggestions or advice.

hi it sounds like you have got things covered.the only thing is they need the oppurtunity to graze outdoors.you cant beat sunlight provided they have a shaded area to retire to when the mood takes them.i have found they prefer to graze on the short cut grass of a lawn.when indoors i leave a pile of finely cut grass down for them to pick over between meals.you say yours are under two.did you get them from a breeder or was this just your suppliers guess work.newly hatched leopards are small and dont grow very quickly at first.i would be interested to see their size and shape at two,if only to compare them to my own.

Terry its complete guess work on my part for one of them as he is a rescue, and the other is a 2010,another rescue but given to me by a man who did not want him any more ,he baught him from a breeder in england.I try to give them as much outdoor grazing as often as i can but this is Ireland after all,the one good thing with mild (and rainy) weather all year is a constant supply of weeds and grass all year round,i almost never have to rely on supermarket greens, and as for pics i will hastle my daughter for a lend of her camera today lol
