When I got Chanel the person I bought her off had said he had incubated them all for female but I no this isnt 100%. I am now starting to think she is a he. She is 3-4 yrs old, SCL is 9.6cm. Over the last month or so her tail seems to have grown quite alot. She has also shown some interest in my older female bobing her head, trying to mount her etc. What do all you guys think?

hi Eliza i am no expert on horsfields and i think to get a positive id you will need a clearer picture of the anal scutes and tail area.in saying that from what i can see it is looking male.im sure we have some horsfield keepers who will comment though.

I agree male, as he still looks quite smallish and the tail is quite long.

if you have a clear picture of the plastron near the tail area it may confirm our suspicions.
