I put Solo and Legs 11 in a seed tray of weeds today, and let them wander about and eat what they wanted. Well that was the plan. Legs just wanderd about and took no notice. And Solo had a little munch and headed for the sides.

Awwww cute! When does Solo go to her new home?

Hi Dawn. She was originally going tomorrow. But the lady that is having her, is a bit concerned over her temperatures in set up. Although she has a thermostatically controlled heat source, she needs to get a thermometer and then just check temps. I think she is a little apprehensive, (which i totally understand) so I have told her there is no rush. I would rather keep hold of Solo until the lady is confident in her set up and ability to care for her, rather than take her and then start panicing over things. So she is leaving her here another week or so, until she is sure her temps are stable.

Thank you for your comments. Solo is a lovely little tortoise. And so perfect in everyway.

And yes Jayne, I will be really sad when she/he goes. But I did say from the beginning of incubation that I wouldn't keep any hatchlings unless it had any special needs.
