Well after 2 weeks of no heat or light, I actually think Tom and Tiny have settled. For the past two weeks, everytime I went to check on them, they had moved and were looking around! Even though it was cold and dark in the shed.

I have been and checked on them today, and weighed them, to make sure they hadn't lost too much weight. Both of them kept their eyes closed and moved only slightly as I gently popped them on the scales.

Now they are settled I want the spring to hurry up, so we can have them all safely awake again.

Ben 10 has at last decided he was fighting a loosing battle and I wasn't going to give in as quicky as last year, so after 3 weeks of wriggling is now in the land of nod. xx

excellent news Kimmy They are stubborn little critters ain't they!!!!

although it is a welcome rest during the hibernation period,i still cant wait until the spring,to see all my med adults up and enjoying the sunshine.
