....see you in the spring xxxxxxxxxx

All mine have now gone to sleep and have been closed up in their house outdoors :( I will go out and check on them regulary and open the roof so they get an exchange of air - although it's not airtight in there (it means I still get to see them ;) )

I was hoping to try and keep them awake a bit longer but they decided the time was right :(

3 of mine are already tucked up in the fridge. The others will go in 2 weeks.

Your house is brilliant for hibernation :)

Good night little ones. Sleep safely. Well done on your natural wind down Dawn. I am hoping to do that next year with Tom and Tiny. They are still out in shed, but I am controlling heat and light for them at the moment. Another couple of weeks to go yet.

Gail
xx

thank you xxxx

Even with the heat on, some of mine still wound down and buried down naturally. It's interesting that those ones have buried quite deep, with the next lot semi buried and the final couple are just asleep on the surface :? Strange how they work.....

Mine do the same Dawn:0)
I wonder if it has something to do with the regions their blood line come from. As some are more mountainous than others?

Am i right in thinking, the ones from more mountainous regions are darker in colour ? or can be...
