helloooo and a happy new year to you all 8-) well i am toyiny with the idea of getting some yellow bellies there is someone who has 3 and 2 are huge fully grown i would say and one slightly smaller deffo needs a bigger tank all look healthy am no expert but he does seem to no about them i think well i have also been offered a 6ft fish tank with a cat fish 2 plecs and a arrowana :?:will i be able to have these in with the turtles , me i am not a fishy person so thought i would run it pass you guys lol Dawn havent quite decided lol but will need to make a decision soon lol

Hopefully someone with more experience will be along soon...

Has he got the fish in with them now? Have you asked the seller his opinion? People do keep fish in with them, but you have to be careful of species as some fish have been known to 'hitch a ride' and suffocate turts (accidentally), also if they are slow swimmers they are likely to get eaten for lunch! There are websites out there that give good advice - if you look in some of my turtle posts Dave and a few others have posted some good links to various websites, there are also some good forums:

the owner of the turtles doesnt have any fish in there and the tank that i have been offered is a 6 ft one alot bigger thanthe one they are in i have said i will have them so let the fun begin lol just stay not to far away please x

Its always a risk, usually to the fish. The Arowana is a big predator by the way!
