Well we went to the vets.:( he passed green coloured urine which I know is not good. Blood tests are now done so just waiting for results. The vet wormed him and gave him a dose of critical care. I do feel I paid £120 for very little.
With encouragement he will eat a little butternut squash it's all he will touch. Still very lethargic and quite poorly.

An update.
Well he is still here, we are battling on, some days he is a little more active which heartens me and other days I just worry. The fact that he is still not passing urates or normal poo is extremely worrying but I live in hope that one day soon I may see it, I know it would be the best Christmas box I ever had :)

Thanks Terry :)
I must admit I did get him initially because so few of them are here but that's changed now, I couldn't give a hoot what he is, I just want him to make it. I don't look at him and think oh there's a Chaco I just see a tortoise I really love. I have spent hours with him, trying everything I can. Today I was heartened to see him walking round his table I do think he was looking for weeds which gives me hope. He did wee in the bath bur again no urates. I will do my best it's all I can do, thanks again everyone for your support :)

Hi all, I just thought I would let you know that Pepper is doing very well now. His poop has returned to normal and he is gaining weight.
He is still an extremely fussy eater but progress is being made and he did eat a dandelion the other day because it wasn't chopped up lol.
I think he stands a good chance now. I do love my little Chaco but they are hard work lol
