hi everyone, the first of my eggs has hatched today, day 57. shes a sweet little thing but her shell looks a little crooked. ive tried to take a photo of it, but it isnt visable on the pic.

do you think it will level off as she grows, or will she always be a little lop sided........tiggy

her shape should be fine Tiggy,their shape normally improves as they grow.congratulations on your hatchling,i hope this means we can all enjoy pictures soon.

Congragulations Tiggy.. I also worried when my first lot hatched as one was totally lopsided but within a day or 2 she was perfect.. how many more eggs have you got?

thanks everyone,shes not to bad but when i look from above i can see the differance. ive taken some pics of her and i will post them when and if the other 2 hatch.

jeanette, ive still got 2 eggs from this clutch and another 2 due the end of november, ive put the baby in with the one thats going when the lad gets his tort table. you would'nt believe how much bigger it is. bens tort is nearly 3 months and he looks like a proper little tortoise, the baby just looks like a little scrap !!!!!!!tiggy
