Be patient give it time

Julia, it is really hard I know. But if my memory serves me right, you are day 119??? Legs 11 hatched at 119 but only with my interference and even now, 11 months on, he still has trouble eating as you know. If I had left him, things may have been easier for him. Everytime I look at him, I blame myself. So please be patient. Fingers crossed that the little one is ok. If you can take photos, without disturbing the egg, then maybe we can see things differently to you.

Hi Dawn, the egg shell is starting to turn black in places.
With my others, they had a sort of manky look about them , just before they hatched..
But this one looks different!!!

So what are you going to do? Leave it be for a while longer? Does it smell? If not, then I would personally leave it...

No it doesn't smell!
It hasn't grown since I took the last pictures. Or moved!

I really don't know Julia. I don't think we can advise on this one. I am not sure how long you should actually leave it for. It is such a shame if anything has happened to it.

Hi Gail, I understand.
I really do think it has passed away. The air sac has moved down at the front so it's below it's face and the egg shell is black there.

Can you get a picture to post on here so we can have a look please?? See what everybody thinks.
