Could anybody please let me know if these are campanula? I have loads of this growing in the front garden. They have purple/lilac flowers on them later in the year that are a bit star shaped. I keep thinking they are campanula but am not 100% sure.

Looks like it though the patch of it in my garden doesn't grow as busy or big leaves like that (mind you thats cos it comes under the fence from next door!!!) Mine love it!!!

It looks like campanula to me too:0) There are lots of varieties of this plant. I have three ground cover types. One white and dies down in the Winter, and two different types of blue campanula. One is an alpine variety which I think is the best, as its very compact, and looks lovely all year round. And has a deep blue bell shaped flower. The other has a much lighter colour leaf, and more of a star light blue shaped flower. But the last two are so useful during the Autumn and early Spring, as the leaves are in abundance.

Looks just like the campanula that I feed to mine, which also has lilac star shaped flowers.
