had a look on good old ebay found this book just want to know- worth buying or suggestions , i have muddled thru with info fromhere n therebut need help idea with Leopards i know i can ask i already havebutneed to sort winter set up before it's here

I can't comment on his books as never read any, won't comment on him as not that type of forum, I believe he does know his stuff though (from what I've heard)

You can post as many questions as you like on here about Leo's...I'm sure Terry will be MORE than willing to help you - pm him if you'd prefer. I know Terry and I've seen his torts and I can 100% vouch that there ain't much he can't tell/teach/show you about Leo's

"sulcata and leopard tortoise" by E.J.Pirog.i have this book and makes for very interesting reading Ed does have lots of experience with leopards and is very knowledgable.i dont agree with his pellet feeding ideas and although this is the easy way to keep them alive and growing,i am not impressed with the results.the keeping of leopard tortoises is very much and on going hobby and as such husbandry advice seems to change regularly.there is another book about leopards you may find of interest. "leopard tortoises"by Richard Fife & Jerry.Fife well worth a read.i have had some success raising leopards from hatchlings and have actually bred from my original group of cb hatchlings i bought fom the uk in 1996.husbandry advice can depend on the size of your leopard.once tempratures start to drop the smaller individuals will need to be indoors most of the time.

Good book,but the man himself ( EJ) made me very sad,thankfully I have this forum full of lovely people
